Seah Street Deli is located at Raffles Hotel, and serves American burgers, salads, and other main courses. I recall their portions being quite generous, so my gf and I decided to share one burger and one starter. Which turned out to be a good choice, as we were quite full after this.
Fried calamari, $23 |
This was actually quite good! Just the right amount of batter was used, and the calamari was also thick, tender and fresh.
The Lincoln Tunnel, $39 |
Their supposedly signature dish, though I didn't find it really that good. It came split into two portions even though we didn't request for it, which I thought was a nice touch, actually. The fries were not bad, but the bread was dry and a bit stale. The beef was supposedly Angus beef, but it was a bit tough although we ordered medium rare. It was quite juicy, but did not have the kind of 'beefy' taste that one would expect from a burger patty.
In conclusion, Seah Street Deli is freaking expensive, even after the 50% discount from Feed at Raffles. $36.50 for a starter and a below-average burger is definitely not worth it. In fact, Carl's Jr would give you more value for money.
